IT Warehouse Services: The Warehouse team is responsible for receiving, storing, and managing inventory for all WVOT-related equipment and supplies. This includes overseeing the storage of hardware, software, and various office supplies, and ensuring timely and secure delivery to the appropriate departments or personnel.
Mailroom Services: The Mailroom is tasked with handling incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and documents. This includes sorting, organizing, and distributing correspondence to ensure swift communication within WVOT. Additionally, the team manages the secure delivery of sensitive materials and tracks incoming deliveries to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
Printshop Services: The Printshop team manages all WVOT printing needs, from creating internal reports and documents to producing materials for external communications. Services include high-quality printing, binding, and delivery of printed materials. The Printshop team also offers design and layout support for promotional and informational materials across the organization.
The Project Management Office (PMO) at the West Virginia Office of Technology helps guide and support technology projects across state agencies. By providing tools, structure, and best practices, the PMO ensures projects stay on track, meet their goals, and deliver value to the people of West Virginia. From improving digital services to upgrading systems, the PMO plays a key role in helping agencies work together to move technology forward across the state.

The WVOT ensures proper records management in compliance with the West Virginia Code §5A-8-1 through §5A-8-10. This includes following retention schedules for records, ensuring accessibility for authorized users, and securely disposing of records once their retention period ends. WVOT also embraces modern digital records management systems to maintain and protect electronic records, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and supporting transparency, accountability, and efficient operations.
This section is responsible for the lifecycle management of "born-digital" and digitized records. By implementing industry-standard preservation strategies, we protect the state’s legal, fiscal, and historical data from technology obsolescence, ensuring that essential government information remains authentic and accessible.
