About
The Network Engineering and Architecture section of the WV Office of Technology provides a wide range of data and voice engineering services for the State's Executive Branch agencies, including Network Design, Engineered Cabling Systems, hardware configuration and implementation, operation and maintenance services, high-level troubleshooting, and technical guidance and leadership.

Network Engineering specializes in designing, implementing, and supporting a variety of complex communication systems including the State’s primary IT network. The State IT network provides the ability to access the Internet, VPN into the network from remote locations, answer the phone on your desk/desktop, and share information easily with peers in your agency as well as other agencies.
Network Engineering also triages multiple requests from various sources daily without missing a beat. This group plays an integral role in every facet of state government from implementing new network and telephony infrastructure solutions to daily operational functions such as the ability to answer your phone or read your email.

Provide Engineering Assistance with TCR Creation

Coordinate Hardware Shipments and Installations

Serve as the Department of Administration's liaison with Segra, the State's IPT service provider.

Provide Support of PBX based Telephony Systems.
